DoorDash Local Business Disaster Relief Fund
Grants from $5,000-$15,000 are available for local businesses such as restaurants, flower shops, liquor stores, convenience stores, pet stores, and local grocers in the U.S., Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada that have been impacted by natural disasters like fires, floods, or hurricanes.

How it works

Applications are received and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Review the eligibility requirements and submit an application for the current funding round.
Review Period
Selected applicants will be notified the month after the application period closes.
Grants Distributed
Selected grant recipients will receive the funds the month after the application period closes.

Who can apply
DoorDash prioritizes small businesses that are on the DoorDash platform, including but not limited to restaurants, flower shops, liquor stores, convenience stores, pet stores, and local grocery stores. Businesses must have:
A brick & mortar location
No more than three total locations
50 or fewer employees per location
Been open for at least six months
Revenues of $3M or less per location in the last 12 months
Located in United States, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada
Been impacted by an eligible state or federally-declared natural disaster, including but not limited to wildfires, hurricanes, and earthquakes
Applications must be submitted within 12 months of the declared disaster. Grants can be used to cover expenses directly related to an eligible disaster.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you operate a restaurant in the United States or Puerto Rico, you can apply for a grant from the Disaster Relief Fund at Hello Alice.
If you operate a restaurant in Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, you can apply for a grant from the Disaster Relief Fund at Global Entrepreneurship Network.
Grant recipients will be selected based on criteria published. Recipients will be notified on a rolling basis after 30 days of the application closing.
Be a for-profit business located and registered in one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand; AND
Be a local business including, but not limited to, restaurant, gastropub or bakery, flower shop, liquor store, convenience store, pet store, or local grocery store, with a brick & mortar location that:
has experienced a loss in revenue as a direct result of a state of emergency or federally-declared natural disaster which occurred within the last 12 months;
has 3 or fewer total locations;
has 50 or fewer employees per location;
has been open for at least 6 months;
has revenues of $3M or less per location in 2024; AND
is independently-owned.
