Frequently asked questions

The DoorDash Preferred Integrations Program (DPIP) tracks POS and middleware providers' integration health in real-time based on minimum performance standards and onboarding and live order management feature offerings.

DoorDash Preferred Integrations must meet several criteria.

Meet and maintain our minimum performance standards:

  • POS proactive cancel rate below 1% - Indicates a provider effectively syncs store data with DoorDash in real-time to ensure you only receive orders you can fulfill

  • Merchant avoidable cancellation rate below 1% - Indicates a provider has built robust features that make their system easy to use

Support all high-quality features:

  • Order ready signal - Notify Dashers as soon as an order is ready for pick-up with this in-store signal, enabling faster deliveries.

  • Real-time menu syncing - Automatically pull the most up-to-date version of your menu from your provider into DoorDash, reducing cancellations.

  • Self-guided store setup - Complete the integration process on your own and at your own pace.

  • Self-serve store activation - Onboard and launch your integration in one go.

  • Real-time item 86ing - 86 items on your POS or middleware and see the changes on your DoorDash store in real-time, reducing cancellations.

Be tried and tested by having at least 250 DoorDash stores using their integration

Performance ratings categorize providers into three tiers (Excellent, Very Good, and Good) based on cumulative POS proactive cancel rates and merchant avoidable cancellation rates. The lower providers keep these rates, the higher their performance rating will be, and the more orders you may receive.

To ensure a high-quality experience, no matter which providers you choose, all  integrations must maintain at least a "Good" performance to be part of the DPIP.

There are a couple of reasons you may not see your provider here:

  • Some integration providers do not meet our required performance standards, and are only visible when you search for them by name.*

  • Your provider does not have a DoorDash integration at this time.

*No integrations have been suspended yet due to performance

A Provider is labeled as At Risk, when they do not meet minimum performance standards and are therefore delivering a poor-quality integration experience. This will have NO impact on your business.

Starting as early as 8/1/2025, any provider deemed At Risk, may begin to experience suspensions from onboarding new merchants to their integration with DoorDash.

Reach out to your provider directly for more information on their plans to meet our minimum performance requirements.

No, our priority is to guarantee that you do not experience any disruptions to your business. As such, if you are using a suspended integration, your DoorDash store and integration access will not be impacted. However, keep in mind that suspended providers do not meet minimum performance standards, and therefore are providing a poor-quality integration experience.

If you'd prefer to integrate with a provider that is not suspended, you can use this page to learn more about DoorDash Preferred Integrations and other reliable providers.

Yes! To reverse a suspension, integration providers must meet minimum performance requirements based on 28-day rolling data. Once they do so, they will be automatically unsuspended and be able to onboard new merchants to the integration with DoorDash.

Providers are stack ranked on the webpage first by the number of high-quality features they support and then by performance rating.

Yes, we will add new requirements up to two times per year to ensure providers are continuously improving their merchant experience.

Providers will have ample time to build new high-quality features before the new requirements impact their quality status.
